In the event of a no show, and no communication a fee of one nights room charge will be charged to your credit card provided at the time of reservation or placed on the company invoice.

In the case of presenting a backing sheet for proof of persons being accommodated, any Discrepancies of the backing sheet must be noted within 5 days of receiving the backing sheet / invoice. Failure to bring this to our attention will result in the original number being invoiced.
All invoices outside of Redgum Village trading terms will incur a late payment fee.
Credit card payments will incurr a small fee to cover current bank charges.

Payment terms unless by prior arrangement are:
Short term on C/C at check in and longer term Online Direct Deposit, if first time here we may ask for Credit Card up front.
Longer term invoiced every 14 days. C/C which will incur a fee or Online Direct Deposit

“We do bring to your attention that food for accommodation is pre paid before you arrive and our staff wages are paid weekly for your accommodation.
We have tried asking Woollies and Coles to let us take a few thousand dollars in groceries and pay them in 30 days, as yet to no avail.
We also tried booking a motel for two nights in Perth and said we will pay 30 days after we checked out. Still don’t understand why they hung up the phone on us.
So please do not expect us to pay for all your food and our staff wages to clean your room and cook your food outside of our payment terms”.

Check Out / In

Check out usually by 9am weekdays and 10am weekends unless by prior arrangement. Our cleaning staff are usually finished by noon.
Check in is usually determined by a company before arrival.
Normally after work on that day is best although we will check you in early morning if you have rang in advance and a room is available.
Otherwise as soon as cleaners have been through. After 1pm.

If you leave clothing and or other gear in your room and come back after normal checkout time you will be charged the full rate for that day – unless you have spoken to us about it earlier.

If you require a shower before driving home, after you have checked out eg.. had to work longer on the last day, you are welcome to use a separate shower / toilet block next to the main laundry free of charge. 🙂

Other Do’s and Don’ts

All reverse parking for cars, Ute’s, buses and trucks
Failure to return your room key on departure is $100
Failure to Return your key if away for the weekend or swing change will incur the daily room fee
You are welcome to use the on site gym and we really appreciate that you put the weights back on the rack after use 🙂
Each rubbish bin station has 3 bins:
Red – General Rubbish includes milk containers
Yellow – 10c plastic and glass bottles
White – Aluminium cans

There is a chair outside each room, we encourage you to talk to a mate, share a beverage, we do not police this, we are not a mine camp, we are public accommodation.
What we do not like is loud noise at any time and large group gatherings, this we do monitor and will give you a quiet chat if we feel you are disturbing other guests.
There is a smoking area, if unsure please ask.
Want to donate $10 to the local school? It’s easy, we will fine you for every smoke butt found on the ground, there are plentiful tins around.

Breakage and Damage Policy
Allowing for general wear and tear you will be invoiced for any blatant damage within your room. Example punching a hole in the wall, ripping the towel rail off the wall when using it for balance or lifting yourself off the toilet. We will assess each situation for accidental to carelessness.
Should you refuse to pay then your company supervisor will be notified, and we will have a fair and witnessed conversation.
We do appreciate it if you can inform us of any accidental damage as soon as possible, so we can fix it, and you continue with the comforts of your room.
We also appreciate being told if shower rose is leaking or any other water leak in your room that may have started after room was serviced.

If you have an accident in your bed, please don’t be so naive that the cleaning staff won’t notice, we know who is in each room. Leave a note or even just mention it to the office or a staff member in confidence. Please don’t be a ducsh bag and throw the bedding in the bin, we decide if its washable, steam cleanable or bin-able. If you don’t report it, we will fine your company, if you do report it, we will simply clean it up and decide any further action depending on how bad it is. Or you could wash it yourself although we still need to know as the mattress will likely need airing or even a steam wash, depending on size of accident.

We want you to enjoy the comforts of Redgum Village
We are a basic Village with limited amenities; we try our best with the location we are at and the realities of being in a small rural town. We cannot justify building new Motels and our Village is backed by a Mum and Dad operation, unfortunately not quite the resources of a major mine operation.
However we do have great staff and management and can accommodate, feed and service any form of mining group / crew.
