At long last we have been able to complete the first set of Motel Units here at Redgum Village.

With the need nowadays for ensuite rooms to suit just about all companies working in West Australia it only seemed right to supply them.

It does come at a huge cost for us as we are a private family business and rely on earnings from guests to pay for the upgrades. Even though we are constantly poring money back into the business we are in a catch 22 where we are damned if we do and go damned if we dont.

Even so every available cent has been used to make this happen as we know the need for the newer refurbished rooms.

Redgum Motel

The 4 new rooms are comfortable and freshly decorated to suit the immediate need of ensuited rooms. They still need a bit of decorating on the outside , although they are ready for use right now.

More of these units will be added in the very near future and we hope to have 2 more by the end of this year and be in use directly after the new year of 2010.

Redgum Motels new edition

I hope you have enjoyed this addition to our Village and please do leave a comment on what you think of the idea of en suited rooms at Redgum Village.

Trying to finance a expansion project here at Redgum Village in Dandaragan is proving to be a interesting experience.

Banks want so little risk that they are shying away from what we need to do, for they struggle to see guaranteed business income in these uncertain times.

Sure I can see where they are coming from but we have a great business here and we need to get it up to the next level, and that involves borrowing money.

We could look at selling a share of our business to get a cash injection, thats a possibility, with obviouse pros and cons.

We could approach less secure type financers that command extreme interest rates, which has its pros and cons too.

A idea I will persue is advertising a fair interest rate and offer a % of our business as security to a person or group that can see outside the banking criteria and can see the future potential in Dandaragan West Australia.

With banks offering low returns to money in the bank and a fiar amount of people hiding there money for there own reasons, we may be able to get into a win win situation.

After all we can prove we have a strong business and the current major backer has only a 60% debt ratio, so that in itself opens up a chunk of equity to a smart investor that has vision and knows the area we are in and what the future here has.

There is 3 fruit orchards approaching full harvests, two large Olive plantations that are processing fruit.

We are within 20kms of a large mineral sands mine that does not rely on China and co and actually has 13 or more properties for there product, the main one being a paint pigment.

There is a large privately owned and built abbotoir near by with contractors and permanant staff.

To top it off the new gas field that id now drilling nesr Wathroo, its next big field is right here in Dandaragan.

We also have now 4 major spud farmers diversifing and using there water licences.

The mining of fertiliser is now on the cards since the price of fert. sky rocketed last year and although is not confirmed, mining will begin on that soon.

We are suppose to be in a economic downturn and yet all the above projects are not closing down for that reason.
They will operate and continue to operate for a long time to come.

If a investor can see these opportunities, now is a good time to be investing in some form of business in this area.

Now back in the old days the people that made a lot of money in a gold rush were the people that sold the picks and shuvvels.

Well we supply food and accommodation and a training room to the companies and people that are needed to operate all the above projects, so let us drive forward and get the Redgum Village up to speed and have the expansion we need.

And finance it to people that can appreciate what is happening here and everyone turns into a winner, especially in these so called tough times.

Cheers

Evan Bradshaw

There are many benefits to be had when you consolidate student loans. In the majority of cases, taking the time to consolidate student loans means that you will end up paying less per month than you would without the consolidation.

This is due to the fact that you are paying interest based off of one source of money rather than several different sources. As you can get one interest rate for all of the loans that you have, you often lower the rates you are paying for several of your loans.

In addition to this, taking the time to consolidate student loans means that you will only need to remember to pay one bill rather than several. As forgetting to pay a bill is one of the leading causes in late payments, you can prevent this from impacting your credit history.

When you go to consolidate student loans, there are several things that you will want to remember. First, you will want to make certain that your interest rate is comparable to when you got the loan. While you may end up paying lower monthly payments now, you may end up with a much higher bill after. Companies like to offer loans with low monthly payments and longer amortization times because this allows them to make a higher profit.

The longer your loan survives for, the more interest that they accrue on a monthly basis. When you are working to consolidate student loans, consider the final figure after interest has all been paid off. While your monthly payment may be lower, it could cost you tens of thousands of dollars of extra payments if you go for a lower payment over a longer term.

The next thing you should consider when you go to consolidate student loans is the economy when you go to consolidate the loan. If the economy is supporting very low interest rates, it may be worth consolidating, as your total payment and your monthly payment would both shrink.

However, if the economy is doing poorly, you may not save very much on your monthly payment and end up having to pay a lot of extra money you would not have needed to if you had left your loans alone.

Unless you settle on your loan, doing a consolidation on your student loans will not cause any damage to your credit history. This is due to the fact that you are paying the same base amount, you are just modifying the format in which you are paying it.

It is only when you make deals and settlements that adjust the full amount, will your credit history be damaged.

Nike offers a series of Nike boots suitable for winter wear. Combining warmth with traction, these boots are suitable for anywhere you might encounter cold, snow or other poor weather.

In addition to their winter boot selection, there is also a selection of hiking boots designed to provide superior ankle support for long hikes and rough terrain. Both of these styles of boots offer comfort and support for particularly different to walk over terrains.

When you are selecting your Nike boots, you will want to determine where they will be worn. If you plan on hiking, you will want to avoid the types of boots primarily designed for winter protection or water protection. While these boots use some of the technology designed for walking long distances, the primary focus of these boots are to keep your feet warm and comfortable against chill, rain or snow.

Hiking boots are typically used in spring, summer and fall, so they typically lack the snow traction of winter boots. In exchange, they offer superior grip on rocks and loose dirt, and protect the ankles against being sprained as you cover this sort of terrain.

Hiking boots may also provide protection for your toes, as your toes are typically at risk of being stubbed against rocks and other natural hazards as you walk through the woods.

When you purchase your Nike boots, you will want to consider the distance that you will be walking for on average. If you plan on going on hikes that last for several miles or days, you will want to be extremely careful about the Nike boots you intend on purchasing. It is very important that you pick the boots that provide superior support and comfort to protect against blisters.

You also do not want the boots to be too heavy, as this will prevent you from walking as far before you are tired. If you plan on doing a lot of hiking, you will want to avoid Nike boots that do not completely cover the back of the heel. This will typically eliminate hybrid urban boots, as they do not offer adequate protection for the back of your foot.

For those planning on hiking, Nike boots are more suitable for the wear and tear associated with climbing over rocks, as the soles of the boots are designed to handle the friction caused from this sort of activity. Golf or running shoes, as an example, will be worn down extremely fast by using them on hiking trails. Cross country shoes would survive longest, as they are a hybrid between running shoes and hiking boots.

You can purchase Nike boots from online vendors, Nike stores, and Nike outlets. There are also many local retailers that will carry Nike products.

There was a time when NASCAR cars were just plain cars. Stock car racing began as the name would lead you to believe. The cars used by drivers were bought at dealerships, then driven to the tracks for the races. In 1947 NASCAR created the first standard rule set and a championship points system for determining the winner across a whole season of races.

In the early days tracks were crude dirt roads upon which conditions quickly deteriorated during a race. Conditions quickly destroyed plain stock cars, so NASCAR cars were quickly allowed to be modified for greater ability to handle the poor conditions.

The changes became more extreme as the years went by, both so drivers would be safer and so that races would be more exciting. The NASCAR rule book is very clear to spell out each and every modification allowed for competition.

No longer are NASCAR cars true stock cars, they’re very different from street cars. Rather than produced on an assembly line, NASCAR cars are carefully constructed by hand. Tubes make up their frames, the engines start as bare blocks, and the body is nothing but pressed sheet metal.

The tubes for the frame vary in thickness, and are shaped as both square and round. In order to keep together and protect the driver when crashes occur, the roll cage is constructed of even heavier tubing.

Thinner front and rear tube frame sections, called the clips, are designed to steal energy from a crash by crushing if they contact another car or the wall. In addition, with the force of impact, the front clip forces the engine through the floor instead of through the car to impact the driver.

The bodies of NASCAR cars are not easy to make, and it’s not fast ? often requiring a full 10 days including installation.

NASCAR rules even cover the general body shape for NASCAR cars. To make it easy to follow the rules NASCAR provides 30 templates for the different areas of the car. A big template checks the center of the car while smaller templates are used for other sections like the rear bumper.

There are different sets of rules and specifications for different vehicles that race on different tracks. Cars that race on superspeedways aren’t the same as those used on short tracks or for endurance races.

To find out more about NASCAR cars, and to learn about how the engines are made, try searching on Yahoo or Google.

The Texas State Fair is one of the largest events in Texas. Hosted two miles from downtown Dallas, the massive fair grounds supports several museums, a race track, livestock barns and a midway.

With millions of people visiting the Texas State Fair each year, it is one of the spectacles that envelopes visitors in a feel for Texas and all of the cultures of the State. With estimated returns of over three hundred million dollars each year, the Texas State Fair is a substantial boost to the Texas economy.

Typically, the Texas State Fair operates for a span of 24 days, starting with the last weekend in September and ranging into October. The fair grounds are open both weekends and days, with varying operating hours for each day.

One of the specialties of the Texas State Fair is the variety of foods that can be consumed. With a focus on fried food, there are oddities such as fried coke, fried peanut butter, jelly and banana sandwiches, and much more. While many of the food choices are not for those inclined to watch their weight, there are also vendors who specialize in healthier fare.

Unlike many states across the nation, it is a tradition among schools and businesses that employees and students get to take one day off per year to go to the Texas State Fair. This is among one of the busiest days of the year for the fair, as all establishments typically will take the same day off.

This is counted as an excused absence from work and schools.

There are several prestigious landmarks associated with the Texas State Fair. The Big Tex, which is a giant statue of a cowboy with hinged jaws, welcomes visitors to the Fair. This statue has been a part of the fair since 1952. The hinged jaws were actually added to the statue a year later, so that it looked as though the Big Tex was the one giving the announcements to the park.

Another well known attraction at the Texas State fair is the Texas Star, which is North America’s largest ferris wheel. The Ferris wheel debuted in 1985, just a few months before the Texas Sesquicentennial.

Admission to the Texas State Fair varies yearly, dependent on the number of sponsors, booths and attractions that are registered for the fair.

Discount tickets and group tickets are typically available, if you meet certain criteria.

Italian charms brought a new perspective on the jewelry market thanks to the originality of combinations and designs they allow for. Basically, a traditional Italian charm bracelet consists of about eighteen links connected on a single band: the links are also known as Italian charm links.

Each and every one of these has a different design or image engraved on it, which further explains the originality and the personality touch these items can offer.

Presently, some hundreds of companies produce Italian charms, providing a wide selection range starting from favorite options. Thus, there are religious charms, flags, love tokens, letters, zodiac signs, animals and lots of others.

Italian charms stand out from other similar jewelry items by the fact that instead of hanging loose, they are part of the chain, soldered to the links. The traditional combination of materials includes stainless steel for the links and 18k gold for the soldered charms.

Yet, many manufacturers from around the world are far from sticking to this standard of quality, and usually rely on inferior components. Even so, the common size features are preserved as most Italian charms remain available according to three main categories.

The smallest bracelets include only seventeen links while the largest have nineteen. In case a customization is necessary, you have the option to add or subtract links to make the jewelry fit.

Zoppini and Nomination are the most famous brands of Italian charms, but Disney and Reflorence enjoy a great reputation too. The good part is that the charms can be changed from one bracelet to another even if the items are created by different designers.

Prices also vary from one brand to another, but basically, you should be able to find something to your liking for maximum $50 for an 18k gold item. Depending on the shop you purchase the jewels from, you may receive a free starter bracelet if you buy a larger number of charms.

Some web pages even assist customers with the design of Italian charms for bracelets. Often called bracelet builders such sites allow the visitor to get a preview of what the jewel would look like when finished.

Flexibility is therefore the main advantage of Italian charms, but it is surely completed by originality. A wearer who wants to adjust jewels to a specif mood will surely be satisfied with the versatility of Italian charms regardless of the manufacturer and the initial design concept.

People celebrate Easter by partaking in the many Easter Traditions that surround the holiday. Not only are these traditions religious, but also secular and seasonal in nature.

The holiday name is an important one of these Easter Traditions. What many people don’t realize is that most of the world names Easter based on a different root word than the English word, Easter. In English the word Easter derives from the Old English word Eostre, relating to the name of a month in the Germanic calendar. But in most other languages the holiday name comes from the Greek Pascha, itself related to the Hebrew word for the Passover. The Anglo-Saxon goddess Eostre may also have something to do with the English Easter ? she often carried baskets of eggs.

Passover is linked to Easter Traditions in many other ways. Christians mark the Last Supper as a key event in the Easter celebration, and it took place either just prior to or during Passover. Also, both Passover and Easter have to do with life springing from death, so they share symbolism. Christ rose from his grave on Easter, according to the celebration. Passover is about the angel of death passing over Jewish homes on his way to kill all the first born in the land. Therefore both have to do with various life symbols such as eggs and the baby chicks that come from them, and the new life returned during spring.

For a long time the date of Passover had a lot to do with Easter traditions. Easter, like Passover, isn’t on a specific day but rather is set according to moon and solar phases, particularly the vernal equinox and the full moon. Up until the 4th century AD Christians depended on Jewish scholars to calculate the dates for Passover, and then would base the date for Easter on that ? either on the Jewish date of preparing for Passover or on the first Sunday following that date. However in 325 AD the First Nicaean Council decreed that Christians should not rely on the date the Jewish religion set for Nisan 14 or Passover. One set of disputes ended, but there are still occasional discussions about the date for Easter. There are 35 possible dates for Easter in the Gregorian calendar used in America. This ongoing cycle repeats only once every 5,700,000 years. It won’t be until 2160 that Easter falls on March 23 again like it did in 2008.

Many more Easter traditions exist, and are followed all over the world. For more information on the holiday try a Google search.

When examining Easter the history it’s important to understand all the elements that make up the holiday ? religious, linguistic, and elements of pagan rituals.

For the word aspect of Easter the history, the word Easter dates back to the Greek word Pascha which came from the Hebrew word for Passover. Easter and Passover both stand for life. In Christianity Easter is a remembrance of the death and resurrection of Christ, while for Jews Passover recalls a time when Jewish first born children were spared while the first born of every Egyptian was killed to convince Pharaoh to free the Jews. Remember too that Jesus was a Jew, and he celebrated passover with the last supper. Our English word, Easter, comes from the Old English name of a month in the Germanic Calendar, Eostre, which itself may come from the name of a goddess, Eostre, who often carried a basket filled with eggs.

Eastertide in Easter the history is the whole of the Easter season. At one time this was marked as 40 days from Easter until Ascension Day, the day Jesus rose into heaven, but now it lasts 50 days until Pentecost, when the apostles were visited by the Holy Spirit. Pentecost took place on Shavout, a Jewish commemoration of the day God delivered Ten Commandments to Moses.

There were many disputes as to the time and specific date for Easter. The final argument is commonly called the Quartodeciman controversy. The whole argument was whether to celebrate Easter on Nisan 14, a Hebrew calendar date, or the following Sunday. Passover Proper, held on Nisan 14, is the day people get ready for the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The Bishop of the Roman Province of Asia wanted the Easter celebration on Nisan 14, while the rest of the Christian world celebrated it on the following Sunday. That was because Nisan 14 could fall any day of the week, while most Christians wanted to celebrate Easter on a Sunday. When the dispute first began the Bishop of Phyrgia and the Bishop of Rome agreed to disagree, and let it stand. But one generation later all the Asia minor Bishops were excommunicated because they would not celebrate Easter the Sunday following Nisan 14.

It was further complicated by having to rely on Jewish scholars to determine the date each year for Nisan 14, and thus when Easter happened. Sometimes there were two Nisan 14’s in the same year, because Jewish scholars set the date one year before the spring equinox after the last year it was after the spring equinox. The First Council of Nicaea separated Easter from the Hebrew calendar.

Easter the History went on to determine the date for Easter with a number of calculations ? do a Google search to learn more.

Indian reservations are areas of land managed by a Native American tribe under the US Department of the Interior?s Bureau of Indian Affairs. It all started in 1851 through the Indian Appropriation Act which was passed by the US Congress and which authorized the creation of Indian reservations in nowadays Oklahoma. The relationships between settlers and the Native Americans were getting worse as the settlers trespassed on the Indian territory and the natural resources in the West of the US. In an attempt to find a solution to this conflict, President Ulysses S. Grant stated the Peace Policy, which included the reorganization of the Indian Service, with the aim of relocating various tribes from their ancestral homes to pieces of land established specifically for their inhabitation.

The policy was controversial from the very start. Indian reservations were established by executive order, and in many cases the white settlers objected to the size of the pieces of lands given to the Indians, therefore leading to their size being significantly reduced. Many tribes ignored the relocation orders and were led by force to their limited land parcels. The US Army was in charge with restricting the movements of the tribes. As a result of the pursuit of the tribes in order to force them back in their reservations there were a number of Native American Wars. Among these wars the most famous are the Battle of Little Bighorn and the Nez Perce War. By the end of the 1870s, the policy regarding the Indian reservations was considered a failure, mainly because of the bloody wars it started. Through the Howard-Wheeler Act of 1934, known also as the Indian New Deal, new rights were laid for the Native Americans, encouraged self-government and land management by tribes.

There are about 310 Indian reservations in the US, therefore not all of the country?s more than 550 recognized tribes have a reservation, some tribes have more than one reservation, some have none. The reservation land is very fragmented because of the past sales and allotments. Regarded as a whole, the geographical area of all Indian reservations is 55.7 million acres, representing only 2.3% of the entire surface of the US.

The tribal council and not the local or federal government is the one to have jurisdiction over the Indian reservations. There are different forms of government for different reservations and these forms may or may not resemble the ones found outside the reservation. The outline of the Indian reservations was laid either by the federal government or by the states where the respective reservations are located.
