Expanding our Accommodation, Group Booking Village in Tough Economic Times.

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Trying to finance a expansion project here at Redgum Village in Dandaragan is proving to be a interesting experience.

Banks want so little risk that they are shying away from what we need to do, for they struggle to see guaranteed business income in these uncertain times.

Sure I can see where they are coming from but we have a great business here and we need to get it up to the next level, and that involves borrowing money.

We could look at selling a share of our business to get a cash injection, thats a possibility, with obviouse pros and cons.

We could approach less secure type financers that command extreme interest rates, which has its pros and cons too.

Christmas in Redgum Village, Dandaragan.

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

I want to share with you some of my favourite stories from my favourite holiday, Christmas, in my favourite place, Dandaragan.

Christmas in Dandaragan has always been my favourite way to spend the festive season. The town lights up when the firs of December rolls around, literally. Dandaragan road is a spectacle with the many houses covered in wonderful seasonal lights, but you can never miss the main attraction when admiring the Christmas lights, Redgum Village always buts on a terrific show once the sun sets.

The favourite part about Christmas is Dandaragan for me was always enjoying the company of all my family in the country, for a fresh lunch outside in the sun and then spending the rest of the afternoon in the pool or under the sprinklers with my cousins.

Another main event on my families Christmas tradition is our annual staff Christmas party, I is always a fun and relaxing time that usually we spend on the back lawn. However the last few years we have hired out function room at Redgum village in the town of Dandaragan. The casual, warm atmosphere of Redgum Village really does top off the evening.

I doubt that there is a better way to celebrate Christmas. The Dandaragan area is so low key and welcoming to any visitor that you pre or post Christmas celebrations would be very unique and unforgettable.

Accommodation in West Australia

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

Your company has just secured a large government project in a remote mining location in West Australia, awesome, great and you are celebrating the victory.

The second thing that you now need to address is how we are going to find accommodation in West Australia for a large group of people without having to transport our own accommodation facility. In other words we need an existing camp nearby that we can use or hire.

When we do a little research on accommodation in west Australia we find a number of options.
We need to search the mid west of west Australia, and from a glance there is not a lot available although once narrowed down, a great little place that is in the mid west and is a accommodation complex in west Australia comes up as the Redgum Village.

The Redgum Village in Dandaragan has the required facility we require. It has:

Destination Australia, Summer is Here Great Place To Avoid The Winter. Travel Now!

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

Are you looking forward to more Hurricane’s like Ike or would you rather Travel and be on a beautiful beach in sunny Australia?

With the US exchange rate to Australia at around 80 cents, it makes traveling to Australia affordable and a ideal time to avoid the nasty habits of winter,

Traveling to Aussie right now may not be for everyone, although by getting to a travel agent now and checking out a few specials and some Itinaries, you will surprise yourself on how rewarding these options can be. For example, early bird plane bookings and pre-booking certain hotels can save a lot of dollars up front and therefore allowing you to have that bit extra for spending money. And believe me it is a nice feeling when you see that gift you want for that great friend or relative advertised at a special price. Especially as you are there before the main holiday rush, and be able to comfortably afford it.

The other most important aspect of Australia at this fast approaching time of year, is that you can miss the massive amount of flies that invade certain areas of Australia in a month or two from now. Laying on a sheltered part of a beautiful beach can be destroyed by the annoying bloody house fly, and lots of them.

By taking your holiday now to Australia you get all the benefits including:

  • Avoid the coming US winter and Hurricane’s like Ike
  • Cheaper airfares
  • Great exchange rate
  • Coming into a beautiful summer
  • Avoiding the annoying Aussie fly’s
  • Take advantage of early summer specials on travel and accommodation.
  • Some great gift deals on clothing and other products from the winter range coming on special.
  • Checking out new summer clothes for the coming US summer, get in early and be a leader in fashion.
