Redgum Motels

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

At long last we have been able to complete the first set of Motel Units here at Redgum Village.

With the need nowadays for ensuite rooms to suit just about all companies working in West Australia it only seemed right to supply them.

It does come at a huge cost for us as we are a private family business and rely on earnings from guests to pay for the upgrades. Even though we are constantly poring money back into the business we are in a catch 22 where we are damned if we do and go damned if we dont.

Even so every available cent has been used to make this happen as we know the need for the newer refurbished rooms.

The 4 new rooms are comfortable and freshly decorated to suit the immediate need of ensuited rooms. They still need a bit of decorating on the outside , although they are ready for use right now.

More of these units will be added in the very near future and we hope to have 2 more by the end of this year and be in use directly after the new year of 2010.

Expanding our Accommodation, Group Booking Village in Tough Economic Times.

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Trying to finance a expansion project here at Redgum Village in Dandaragan is proving to be a interesting experience.

Banks want so little risk that they are shying away from what we need to do, for they struggle to see guaranteed business income in these uncertain times.

Sure I can see where they are coming from but we have a great business here and we need to get it up to the next level, and that involves borrowing money.

We could look at selling a share of our business to get a cash injection, thats a possibility, with obviouse pros and cons.

We could approach less secure type financers that command extreme interest rates, which has its pros and cons too.

Consolidate Student Loans

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

There are many benefits to be had when you consolidate student loans. In the majority of cases, taking the time to consolidate student loans means that you will end up paying less per month than you would without the consolidation.

This is due to the fact that you are paying interest based off of one source of money rather than several different sources. As you can get one interest rate for all of the loans that you have, you often lower the rates you are paying for several of your loans.

In addition to this, taking the time to consolidate student loans means that you will only need to remember to pay one bill rather than several. As forgetting to pay a bill is one of the leading causes in late payments, you can prevent this from impacting your credit history.

When you go to consolidate student loans, there are several things that you will want to remember. First, you will want to make certain that your interest rate is comparable to when you got the loan. While you may end up paying lower monthly payments now, you may end up with a much higher bill after. Companies like to offer loans with low monthly payments and longer amortization times because this allows them to make a higher profit.

The longer your loan survives for, the more interest that they accrue on a monthly basis. When you are working to consolidate student loans, consider the final figure after interest has all been paid off. While your monthly payment may be lower, it could cost you tens of thousands of dollars of extra payments if you go for a lower payment over a longer term.

The next thing you should consider when you go to consolidate student loans is the economy when you go to consolidate the loan. If the economy is supporting very low interest rates, it may be worth consolidating, as your total payment and your monthly payment would both shrink.

Nike Boots

Monday, February 23rd, 2009

Nike offers a series of Nike boots suitable for winter wear. Combining warmth with traction, these boots are suitable for anywhere you might encounter cold, snow or other poor weather.

In addition to their winter boot selection, there is also a selection of hiking boots designed to provide superior ankle support for long hikes and rough terrain. Both of these styles of boots offer comfort and support for particularly different to walk over terrains.

When you are selecting your Nike boots, you will want to determine where they will be worn. If you plan on hiking, you will want to avoid the types of boots primarily designed for winter protection or water protection. While these boots use some of the technology designed for walking long distances, the primary focus of these boots are to keep your feet warm and comfortable against chill, rain or snow.

Hiking boots are typically used in spring, summer and fall, so they typically lack the snow traction of winter boots. In exchange, they offer superior grip on rocks and loose dirt, and protect the ankles against being sprained as you cover this sort of terrain.

Hiking boots may also provide protection for your toes, as your toes are typically at risk of being stubbed against rocks and other natural hazards as you walk through the woods.

When you purchase your Nike boots, you will want to consider the distance that you will be walking for on average. If you plan on going on hikes that last for several miles or days, you will want to be extremely careful about the Nike boots you intend on purchasing. It is very important that you pick the boots that provide superior support and comfort to protect against blisters.

Nascar Cars

Sunday, February 22nd, 2009

There was a time when NASCAR cars were just plain cars. Stock car racing began as the name would lead you to believe. The cars used by drivers were bought at dealerships, then driven to the tracks for the races. In 1947 NASCAR created the first standard rule set and a championship points system for determining the winner across a whole season of races.

In the early days tracks were crude dirt roads upon which conditions quickly deteriorated during a race. Conditions quickly destroyed plain stock cars, so NASCAR cars were quickly allowed to be modified for greater ability to handle the poor conditions.

The changes became more extreme as the years went by, both so drivers would be safer and so that races would be more exciting. The NASCAR rule book is very clear to spell out each and every modification allowed for competition.

No longer are NASCAR cars true stock cars, they’re very different from street cars. Rather than produced on an assembly line, NASCAR cars are carefully constructed by hand. Tubes make up their frames, the engines start as bare blocks, and the body is nothing but pressed sheet metal.

The tubes for the frame vary in thickness, and are shaped as both square and round. In order to keep together and protect the driver when crashes occur, the roll cage is constructed of even heavier tubing.

Thinner front and rear tube frame sections, called the clips, are designed to steal energy from a crash by crushing if they contact another car or the wall. In addition, with the force of impact, the front clip forces the engine through the floor instead of through the car to impact the driver.
