Redgum Motels

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

At long last we have been able to complete the first set of Motel Units here at Redgum Village.

With the need nowadays for ensuite rooms to suit just about all companies working in West Australia it only seemed right to supply them.

It does come at a huge cost for us as we are a private family business and rely on earnings from guests to pay for the upgrades. Even though we are constantly poring money back into the business we are in a catch 22 where we are damned if we do and go damned if we dont.

Even so every available cent has been used to make this happen as we know the need for the newer refurbished rooms.

The 4 new rooms are comfortable and freshly decorated to suit the immediate need of ensuited rooms. They still need a bit of decorating on the outside , although they are ready for use right now.

More of these units will be added in the very near future and we hope to have 2 more by the end of this year and be in use directly after the new year of 2010.

Expanding our Accommodation, Group Booking Village in Tough Economic Times.

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Trying to finance a expansion project here at Redgum Village in Dandaragan is proving to be a interesting experience.

Banks want so little risk that they are shying away from what we need to do, for they struggle to see guaranteed business income in these uncertain times.

Sure I can see where they are coming from but we have a great business here and we need to get it up to the next level, and that involves borrowing money.

We could look at selling a share of our business to get a cash injection, thats a possibility, with obviouse pros and cons.

We could approach less secure type financers that command extreme interest rates, which has its pros and cons too.

Texas State Fair

Saturday, February 21st, 2009

The Texas State Fair is one of the largest events in Texas. Hosted two miles from downtown Dallas, the massive fair grounds supports several museums, a race track, livestock barns and a midway.

With millions of people visiting the Texas State Fair each year, it is one of the spectacles that envelopes visitors in a feel for Texas and all of the cultures of the State. With estimated returns of over three hundred million dollars each year, the Texas State Fair is a substantial boost to the Texas economy.

Typically, the Texas State Fair operates for a span of 24 days, starting with the last weekend in September and ranging into October. The fair grounds are open both weekends and days, with varying operating hours for each day.

One of the specialties of the Texas State Fair is the variety of foods that can be consumed. With a focus on fried food, there are oddities such as fried coke, fried peanut butter, jelly and banana sandwiches, and much more. While many of the food choices are not for those inclined to watch their weight, there are also vendors who specialize in healthier fare.

Unlike many states across the nation, it is a tradition among schools and businesses that employees and students get to take one day off per year to go to the Texas State Fair. This is among one of the busiest days of the year for the fair, as all establishments typically will take the same day off.

This is counted as an excused absence from work and schools.

Home Based Business

Thursday, February 12th, 2009

There are a multitude of scam types as there are opportunities to actually make money from good home based business ideas. Here are a few things that should ring a bell to you and make you avoid scams and scammers when working online.
First of all, you should start by never believing those who claim that the home based business solutions they have for you generate hundreds if not thousands of dollars every week.

Plus, they claim that no experience is necessary and the work time is minimum. However, few such sites actually tell one what exactly the job is about; you have to either pay a fee to download a magic guide or call on a phone number for more details.

Yes, a home based business can generate lots of money but only in time, with plenty of effort and real experience in the activity field you cover.

Those who claim that experience is not necessary lie, therefore, do not rush for easy-made money as there is no such thing unless you gain the big price at the lottery. Yet, this is not the only lie you are being told by scammers. At a close look at the sites that advertise for wonder home based business solutions, you’ll see lots of capitalized words and plenty of blah blah and testimonials of people who really made it!
The success stories are often improvised and serve for the not so subtle manipulation of the reader’s conscious or subconscious desire to get wealthy.

Lots of marketing techniques are put together into the creation of such web pages that promise you the blessed land of fortune and claim to bring guru info in all the activity sectors specific to a home based business.
